THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 24 HOW DO YOU PLEAD GUILTY OR NOT GUILTY

10-13-2010

Friday October 15, 2010 the day the " Montgomery 11" will give the judge the answer to his question .
Ordinarily you might think all 11 would plead NOT GUILTY .
I think Crosby will plead Guilty and perhaps one or two more will also .
McGregor ,Gilley , and Harri Anne Smith will all plead NOT GUILTY .
These three seem to be the focus of the indictment .
Could we see a Lobbyist plead guilty? Sure we could .
Deals will be made and the smart criminals will take a deal at the first opportunity it arises .
What will transpire between now and Friday ?
More indictments?
Troy King is very eager to get an investigation going about the Supreme Court decision that was leaked .
Could it be he wants an ongoing investigation to delay his own indictment ?
This would give him time to " test the waters" and see if he could get a deal.
Expect more Senators , lobbyists , bankers and others to be caught in the dragnet.

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 23 MISSING PLAYERS LUCKY LARRY

10-13-2010

Larry Langford is the focus of several lawsuits that allege McGregor had him escorted to slot machines and Lucky Larry spun the reels and won as many as 20 jackpots in one session.
Over 1 1/2 million dollars in all .
Larry at age 62, sitting in a Federal prison is eager to help ?
Lucky Larry could provide great details about how McGregor gets cash to those he needs to help him buy votes .
Larry should also be happy to reveal the " rigged jackpots "scheme as he doesn't have anything to lose .
Larry's name will surface and perhaps as soon as a few days after the pleas on Friday , or after the next round of indictments are handed down

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 22 MISSING PLAYERS RON SPARKS

10-12-2010

Ron Sparks is the Democrat nominee for Governor in Alabama.
Sparks trails a weak Republican candidate by 20%

Sparks has been very open in the fact he thinks legalized gambling in the forms of a Lottery and Slot machines are the answers to all of Alabama's problems .

Sparks took out a $500,000 loan at River Bank.
Artur Davis questioned the loan ,and banking analysts said at a minimum, a typical lender would require a salary ranging between $144,000 and $156,000, as well as $625,000 in debt-free real estate as collateral, to make a $500,000 loan.

Sparks earns a $79,026 salary as state agriculture commissioner. His Montgomery home is assessed at around $240,000, although Sparks has said that its actual value is between $300,000 and $350,000. He listed no other income or real estate holdings in his latest filing with the Alabama Ethics Commission and has said there were no co-signors on his loan.

Sparks told the Associated Press that he had no co-signor.
Sparks has not answered questions about whether a third party provided collateral and has declined multiple interview requests about the matter
Sparks also told the Associated Press that he owns a lot on Lookout Mountain in northeast Alabama, which he did not list in required financial disclosures. He did not say the size or value of the land.

Read the complete story here

Sparks returned the loan and said it was not needed anymore .

Sooner or later the details of the loan will be made public .
When Spark's campaign donors are made public , will anyone be surprised to find out how much they have in common with the indicted " Montgomery 11" .
I think Spark's financial dealings might be one the most important set of facts to come out of the whole investigation.

Prediction : Sparks has little or no chance of winning the Governor's race and if he is pulled into the investigation , it will be after the November election .
Sparks will be so damaged by his association with people and entities under investigation that his political career is over

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 21 MISSING PLAYERS JIMMY HOLLEY

10-12-2010

Jimmy W. Holley is a Republican member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the 31st District since 1998. Previously he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1974 through 1994. Holley was a Democrat until January 10th, 2007 when he announced he would become a Republican.
Alabama Senate District 31, includes Coffee and Covington counties and part of Dale county.
Holley resides in Elba which is smack dab in the middle of the area where much of this corruption seems to originate from .
The bill that allowed gambling in Macon County was sponsored by a Senator in District 31.
McGregor is from Enterprise and this is close to both districts 30 & 31

Holley's largest campaign donation in 2006 came from Alabama Education Association in the amount of $75,000
$75,000 is a LARGER donation than any of the other Democratic legislators received that are or could be implicated in the DOJ investigation of Bingo corruption .

Holley's donations , district, and voting pattern would make him a logical target of the investigation.

Holley has ties to SPARKS .

Prediction Holley may or may not be indicted , but his image and reputation will be tarnished once the investigations and trials are complete .

Prediction : Holley's name comes up many times and probably in conjunction with
Senator Smith , Gilley and lobbying .

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 20 MISSING PLAYERS BOBBY SINGLETON

10-12-2010

Bobby D. Singleton is a Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the 24th District since a special election in January 2005. Previously he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 2003 through 2005.

Singleton's largest campaign donation in 2006 was from Alabama Education Association in the amount of $42,500
Singleton's 4th largest campaign donation in 2006 was from POARCH PAC in the amount of $25,000

Singleton represents Alabama Senate District 24, which includes Sumter and Greene counties and parts of Bibb, Choctaw, Hale, Marengo, Perry and Tuscaloosa counties.

Greene County falls in the area Singleton represents and has a dog track where " skimming money off the top " was exposed , and currently it's Bingo operation is shut down.
Singleton's donations , district, and voting pattern would make him a target of the investigation.

Prediction: Singleton may or may not be indicted , but his image and reputation will be tarnished once the investigations and trials are complete .

Prediction : Singleton's name comes up many times and probably in conjunction with Senator Ross and his SB 515

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 19 MISSING PLAYERS TROY KING

10-12-2010

Troy King was born August 22, 1968, in Elba, Alabama ,and is the current Republican Attorney General of Alabama.
He was originally appointed to the statewide position by Republican Governor Bob Riley in 2004 following the resignation of William Pryor to accept a federal judgeship.

King has knocked heads with Bob Riley ,and issued opinions that seemingly undermine the investigation of illegal slot machine operation in Alabama .

King is from Elba and this is smack dab in the middle of the area where much of this corruption seems to originate from .

Hindsight is said to be 20/20 , and in hindsight of King it certainly looks like , at the very least he was on the wrong side of the Bingo battle, if not in someone's pocket.
Numerous leaks about raids and court decisions , undoubtedly would have the DOJ looking into King along with his apparent " turning of the blind eye " to the whole investigation of corruption pertaining to Bingo .

The voters sent their message to King and he is not on the ballot in November .

McGregor and other high profile officials that have been or will be indicted will need a really " Big Fish " to serve up to the DOJ in order to get a more lenient sentence .
King would certainly be right up at the top along with Folsom on the "Big Fish list"

King may not be involved , and if he is not he should ask for his tuition back from the University of Alabama School of Law because all of this happened right under his nose and he was not smart enough to know it .

King may or may not be indicted , but his image and reputation will be tarnished once the investigations and trials are complete .

Prediction : King will be implicated and tried for obstruction and or other counts .
King will lose his ability to practice law in the state of Alabama

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 18 MISSING PLAYERS MARCEL BLACK

10-12-2010

Marcel Black, HB 154
"This bill proposes a general law that will relieve non-Indian operators of bingo from certain legal disabilities that do not apply to Indian tribes conducting bingo under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act

Marcel Black is a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 3rd district, Colbert County. He was first elected in 1990.

Black's largest campaign donation in 2006 came from AL Education Assoc in the amount of $10,000
Unknown what part, if any Black plays here , but the wording of his bill is striking .

Prediction Black may or may not be indicted , but his name comes up in the investigation .

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 17 OTHER PLAYERS HANK SANDERS

10-12-2010

Hank Sanders SB507
Hank Sanders is a Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the 23rd District since 1982.

Hank's largest campaign donation in 2006 came from Alabama Education Association for $50,000

Hank may not wield the influence like the Senator that wrote SB 380 , but Hank is a crafty member of the Senate ,and it is very likely that if bribes were being offered for a vote , then Hank surely gave it a good look .

Prediction Sanders may or may not be indicted , but his image and reputation will be tarnished once the investigations and trials are complete .

Prediction : Sanders' name comes up many times and probably in conjunction with Senator Ross and his SB 515

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 16 MISSING PLAYERS WENDELL MITCHELL

10-12-2010

Wendall Mitchell is a Democrat Senator serving the 30th district since 1982 .
Mitchell became Deputy President Pro Tempore in 2007

Mitchell's largest campaign donor in 2006 was the Alabama Education Association , which donated $45,000 to him

Page 40 of the 65 page indictment details Ronnie Gilley calling a Senate Consultant

On or about March 30, 2010, the day of the vote on SB380, GILLEY called a campaign consultant to discuss a member of the Alabama Senate, who supported the bill but was unlikely to take part in the vote due to illness. During the call, GILLEY told the consultant, who was planning to see the ailing legislator that morning, that, if the legislator participated in the vote, GILLEY would secure the help of prominent country music stars to run the legislator’s campaign. GILLEY told the consultant to assure the legislator that GILLEY was going “to participate in his campaign and uh, in a big, big, big way” and that the legislator was “number twenty-one for us.” Later, GILLEY stated that “in excess of $500,000 is what’s already committed” if the legislator showed up and voted in favor of SB380. The consultant assured GILLEY that he would forward GILLEY’s promise to the legislator. Later that day, the legislator voted in favor of SB380.

All in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371.

Mitchell was quoted in the Troy Messenger as saying :
“I couldn’t believe my eyes or ears Monday morning when all that stuff came out,” he said. “In all my years of service, 25 years, I have never, ever had a single lobbyist come to me and make an offer for my vote.”

He then assured his supporters that it was his principles—and not bribes—that influenced his vote.

Mitchell appears to be neck deep in this corruption , he may not be involved , and if he is not he should submit his resignation letter because all of this happened right under his nose and he was not smart enough to know it .

Prediction : Mitchell will be indicted and alter co operate with the DOJ and provide evidence and testimony to implicate others .Mitchell is in poor health so the DOJ can extend him an hand up

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 15 MISSING PLAYERS JIM FOLSOM JR.

10-12-2010

Folsom is a household name in Alabama Politics .
Folsom was elected to Lieutenant Governor in 1987 and served until 1993, when he became governor after H. Guy Hunt was convicted of state ethics law violations and removed from office.
In 1994, Folsom ran for a full term as governor but was narrowly defeated by former Governor Fob James. In 2006, Folsom re-entered state politics, running again as the Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor and defeating Luther Strange .

Folsom is a Democrat and serves as President of the Senate.
Many people believe that the corruption in the Legislative chambers in Montgomery is vast and not just limited to Bingo .

Folsom is in charge of the Senate , and very likely the " Biggest Fish " the DOJ could hope to catch in this investigation .

Folsom may not be involved , and if he is not he should submit his resignation letter because all of this happened right under his nose and he was not smart enough to know it .

Folsom may or may not be indicted , but his image and reputation will be tarnished once the investigations and trials are complete .

Prediction : Senator Bedford implicates Folsom

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 14 MISSING PLAYERS ROGER BEDFORD

12-10-2010

Roger Bedford is a Democrat Senator that has represented the 6th District since 1994 .
Bedford received 2 sizable and very interesting donations for his 2006 campaign .

A.E.A $72,000
Jim Folsom Jr Campaign $50,000

Bedford is the sponsor of SB380,the bill that much of the 65 page indictment is centered around .

Bedford represents and area that wouldn't appear to support gambling .
SB380 doesn't seem to award ANY advantages to Bedford's district .

Page 59 of the indictment shows that McGregor made 5 calls from Nevada to Alabama on 3-16-2010 & 3-17-2010

3-16-2010
Call 1 was to " another gambling facility operator in Alabama " concerning pro-gambling legislation.

Call 2 was to indicted co conspirator Thomas Coker concerning concerning pro-gambling legislation and Senator PREUITT'S vote

Call 3 was to " the head of the Alabama Education Association ( HUBBERT ) concerning concerning pro-gambling legislation and Senator PREUITT'S vote

3-17-2010

Call 1 was to indicted co conspirator Thomas Coker concerning concerning pro-gambling legislation and Senator PREUITT'S vote

Call 2 was to the sponsor of SB380 ( BEDFORD )concerning the need to gather votes in support of the bill .

On at least 10 separate occasions Crosby communicated via email or "instructed an employee of the Legislative Reference service" to transmit correspondence to McGregor or his lawyers changes to SB 380 .(pages 35-38)

Evidence will reveal that McGregor and his legal team WROTE this bill to give them every possible advantage .

Are reasonable people expected to believe Bedford had no knowledge of this ?
Are reasonable people expected to believe Bedford was oblivious to it all and so stupid he failed recognize that the wording of the " amended copies "of the SB 380 bill given to him by Crosby were corrupt and custom tailored to McGregor ?

Will the DOJ make an offer to Crosby to implicate Bedford?
One would certainly thinks this is the VERY FIRST offer made .

Luckily Bedford has a few avenues available to him .
Folsom
Hubbert

Prediction : Bedford will be named in the new indictments , and will co operate with the DOJ and supply evidence on a few " BIG FISH "

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 13 MISSING PLAYERS PAUL HUBBERT

10-12-2010
Dr. Paul Hubbert is the Alabama Education Association Executive Secretary.
Paul Hubbert issued a press release on July 15, 2010 announcing he would resigned his leadership position in the Alabama Democratic Party.

Before the July gubernatorial runoff, a new and secretive organization called the Conservative Coalition for Alabama ran an extensive ad campaign that criticized Byrne's record in state government.
Little was known about the group other than it listed its official address as a rented mail- box at a package shipping store in Montgomery.

An Associated Press report shows that Conservative Coalition for Alabama ONLY donor was AEA, which provided $750,000 on June 23.
That was one day after the coalition was created.
Read the entire Montgomery Advertiser article

Page 59 of the indictment shows that McGregor made 5 calls from Nevada to Alabama on 3-16-2010 & 3-17-2010

Call 2 was to the sponsor of SB380 ( BEDFORD )concerning the need to gather votes in support of the bill

The transcripts of the tapes will be damaging for a few people .

Dr. Paul Hubbert appears to have successfully manipulate the run off in the gubernatorial runoff ,and now he is taped by the FBI talking about Senator Preuitt's vote .

Could the conversation spell out McGregor's massive contributions and Hubbert's task to make sure the BRIBES were cost effective ?

Connect the dots , McGregor calls Gilley , then he calls Coker , then he calls Hubbert .
Could it be possible that after 2 calls to indicted co conspirators , McGregor called Hubbert out of the blue and he has nothing to do with this massive vote buying scheme?

A.E.A donates a LOT of money in Alabama elections , Hubbert very well could be a bigger catch than ALL of the " MOntgomery 11"

Dr. Paul Hubbert may or may not be indicted , but it will look very bad for the A.E.A and it's trail of money and donations .

Prediction : Hubbert resigns from the A.E.A

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 12 UPCOMING INDICTMENTS

10-12-2010

The FBI began it's round up of the Montgomery 11 , on Monday October 4, 2010.
4 weeks before the election .
The DOJ held a press conference that Monday and said the investigation is ongoing and more indictments are likely forthcoming .
These NEW indictments would have to be announced by the 18th or 19th or they would be announced after the election .
The DOJ announced the first indictments and I think the new indictments will be announced before the 19th.
Who else could be rounded up ?
Bedford?
Folsom ?
Sanders ?
Mitchell ?
Hubbard ?
King ?
The DOJ could use a good story right now , as it has received bad press about the NBP case and the AZ SB1070 immigration law .
BINGO seems to be the shot in the arm Eric Holder needs just before flu season

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 11 WHY FLIP McGREGOR

10-7-2010

McGregor appears to be at the very center of this investigation .
What could McGregor trade the DOJ in exchange for a lenient sentence ?
It would have to be GOOD , really GOOD .
McGregor has all kinds of corporate entities in his name and relatives names.
A guilty verdict for McGregor , would likely mean that the Feds go after everything remotely connected to him .
Who or what could McGregor have to wheel and deal his way out of this ?
The Governor ? Lt. Governor ?
It would have to be something of that magnitude , and even then he would still get more than a slap on the hand.
If anyone walks away unscathed by any of this , McGregor would be the one .
Riley seems an HIGHLY UNLIKELY choice , but McGregor is crafty and if anyone could play that card it would be McGregor.
Folsom MIGHT might qualify for " big fish " status , but he and McGregor have been in politics for a long time and its doubtful Folsom has any loose ends with McGregor.
Some one else would have already played the Folsom card if it indeed exists .

McGregor's best choice is to FLEE THE COUNTRY , but with a GPS anklet that could be a tad tricky .
McGregor is resourceful and the anklet might conviently have a malfunction at precisely the right moment .
Another possibility is that McGregor might visit a friend in rural Alabama that has a landing strip onsite .

McGregor has been scrutinized by the FBI many times before over the past 30 or so years , do not rule out the possibility he has a " friend " that can supply him with inside info .

All in all , McGregor has lived a charmed life for the last 30 years and if it all blew up in his face he still had a good ride .
LOTS of people would have been more than happy to have what he has and let it end like this .
Mountains of money on hand ensures he can appeal forever , and at age 71 it is unlikely he spends any time in jail even if he is found guilty.

Prediction : McGregor pleads not guilty and files motions to dismiss , suppress evidence, change venue , and about 2 dozen other assorted things .

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 10 WHY FLIP GILLEY

10-7-2010

Mr. Gilley is in a real tight spot .
I think as the trial moves forward ,evidence will show that he was simply a " front man " for McGregor .
What could Gilley give the feds in exchange for a lenient sentence ?
He could roll over on McGregor ,but the Feds have plenty there already , and likely in his role as the front man he is on a need to know basis .
It is doubtful that Gilley has much contact with some of the other players in the Legislature that have to as yet been indicted .
Gilley has few options and it seems like he needs to produce evidence that will link McGregor to money laundering or some kind of conspiracy to harm people who did not jump on the non stop corruption train in Montgomery .
Gilley will likely find himself in the same situation as Senator Smith , nothing of real value to offer the DOJ and facing a nice long vacation in a Federal facility .
Regardless of what transpires Gilley will likely spend a VERY long time in jail .

Gilley's best choice ? FLEE THE COUNTRY

Prediction : Gilley pleads guilty at arraignment ,and files almost identical motions as McGregor .

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 9 WHICH SENATOR WILL BE THE FIRST TO FLIP

10-7-2010

There may only be room for 1 , perhaps 2 Senators to testify against their co conspirators and receive a lesser sentence .

PREUITT seems to be in the best position here.

At this point I think the only deal a Senator will be offered is to provide information that brings down several corporations AND major players in the Legislature .

State Sen. Harri Anne H. Smith
Bad news for Harri Anne , she is one of only 2 ( Gilley being the other ) indicted that are named in " Notice of Forfeiture " on page 63 of the indictment .
Doubtful she can provide any real value as in regards to flipping on Gilley.
As a long time Republican she has a target on her back ,and may receive the longest sentence of anyone .

Reasonable conclusion : Smith is Neck Deep in this matter and has nothing to offer the FEDS and is # 3 on the FEDS wish list.
Prediction : Pleads NOT guilty at arraignment and files more motions than can be counted on two hands .

State Sen.Larry P. Means
Doubtful Means has cards to play here , and if he does do they trump what is already in play ?
Prediction : Pleads NOT guilty at arraignment and is caught in a squeeze because he can't provide anything on McGregor or Gilley that anyone else hasn't already provided and he doesn't have info the Lobbyists have .

State Sen. Quinton T. Ross Jr.
ROSS sponsored a bingo bill , so his only hope is that he was smart enough to tape some conversations with other people who wrote corrupt bills , and is willing to turn that over to the FEDS .
ROSS is local so maybe he was smart enough to do most of his attempted extortion and bribery schemes face to face and behind closed doors .
Doubtful that Ross could topple the " big Fish " in the Legislature and he will be the center of controversy because he is ( so far ) the only " man of color" indicted.
PREDICTION : Pleads NOT Guilty at arraignment and has as good , or better chance than anyone ( with the exception of McGregor ) of not receiving a single guilty verdict returned against him.

State Sen James E. Preuitt
Preuitt , withdrew his bid for re election .
Either he is already in play, or at age 75 is convinced he can't do prison time .

Reasonable conclusion : the FEDS have enough already to convict Preuitt on the one count of making a false statement ( heck even BLAGO couldnt skate on that one )

Prediction : Preuitt is truly the wild card here , he holds the honor of holding out for the 2 million dollar price tag and perhaps he has something REALLY BIG to offer .
He could go either way , but I think he will plead not guilty at arraignment , entering a guilty plea would likely mean he has flipped on someone REALLY BIG .

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 8 WHY FLIP JARRELL WALKER

10-7-2010

Walker probably falls into the same value category as Coker .
Unfortunate for Walker is that as the youngest to be indicted he probably will get a moderately long sentence

Prediction : Pleads not guilty at arraignment

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 7 WHY FLIP MASSEY

10-7-2010

Jennifer Pouncy entered into a plea agreement with the DOJ on September 14,2010.
Part of the agreement is " Substantial Assistance " (page 11 of plea agreement)
" providing truthful and complete information and testimony ,and producing documents ,records and other evidence " " if requested by the United States working in an undercover role to contact and negotiate with others suspected "
Pretty obvious that Ms. Pouncy has the goods and has delivered them to the FEDS .
Massey seems to have a mountain of evidence against him and the only " big fish " he could testify against is Gilley and McGregor and its doubtful that has much value as the FEDS appear to have lots of taped conversations and with the documentation and testimmony provided by Ms. Pouncy he is not needed .
Perhaps Massey has a huge client list of corrupt politicians and or corporations that engaged in similar misconduct that are involved in other vote buying schemes that did not participate in BINGOGATE.

Massey is fairly young at age 39, and some one is going to have to do a long stretch in Federal prison and he seems prime for that role .

Prediction " Massey pleads not guilty at arraignment and joins McGregor and Gilley in a dwindling group that will not be offered deals by the DOJ to testify against other members of the " Montgomery 11 "

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 6 WHY FLIP GEDDIE

10-7-2010

Robert B. Geddie Jr.
Geddie has "announced he was a taking a leave of absence from his powerful lobbying firm in Montgomery "
The DOJ has enough on Geddie to convict him on one count of obstruction of justice.
What could Geddie offer of value to minimize spending the golden years of his life in prison ?
Geddie is part of Fine Geddie & Associates and the firm boasts the biggest names in Alabama as clients .
Geddie could draw the FEDS a treasure map to the shell companies used to hide money in this massive continuing criminal corruption scheme.
Geddie could also provide information which of the corporations he represents are involved in similar schemes of vote buying and corruption , that the DOJ could use in new investigations .

Question 5: Which companies will drop Fine Geddie & Associates?
Question 6: As vote buying schemes are uncovered by some of these clients , who will be the fall guy and will stockholders demand they be fired ?

Reasonable conclusion : Geddie is guilty on the one count of obstruction of justice.
Prediction : Geddie will plead NOT guilty to all counts EXCEPT the one count of obstruction of justice, and like Crosby he will realize that at age 60 he needs to be smart and cooperate with the DOJ , do the short sentence and hope he can retain his home when he is released and enjoy his retirement.

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 5 WHY FLIP Thomas Coker

10-7-2010

COKER , finding himself at age 70 has to wonder in the back of his mind , that if convicted , any sentence could very well be a life sentence .
Coker would most likely ( if at all ) be asked to corroborate the growing mountain of evidence the DOJ has on the 7 of the Montgomery 11 that are going to face long prison sentences.
Coker probably doesnt have a whole lot to offer but at his age leniency is probably an acceptable trade off for his role in the whole matter .
He probably doesn't have as much to offer as Massey , and Geddie is the gold mine of information on the lobby end .

Prediction : Coker will not play a huge part in the case unless he can give up the BIGGEST FISH and will probably get the shortest sentence of the 11.

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 4 WHY FLIP CROSBY ?

10-7-2010

The DOJ investigation seems to focus on SB 380 .
From May 2008 to April 2010 Crosby received MONTHLY payments (totaling $72,000) in the amount of $3,000.
This is a DIRECT violation of Alabama law in Crosby's state position .
McGregor " caused to be issued " the checks to Crosby .
Crosby failed to disclose this income on his state disclosure form until subpoena's were issued in July 2010.
On at least 10 separate occasions Crosby communicated via email or "instructed an employee of the Legislative Reference service" to transmit correspondence to McGregor or his lawyers changes to SB 380 .(pages 35-38)

Mr. Crosby can claim the distinct honor of cashing a series of checks for $3,000 each , written to him from the account of Macon County Greyhound Park , Inc. and mailed to him at his home in Montgomery Al.
The checks :# 15939 (1/6/2010),#16053 ( 2/3/2010), #16164 (3/3/2010), #16287 (4/7/2010) (pages 58 & 59) of the indictment .

The email logs will prove all of this, and along with another employee involved ,taped conversations , there seems to exist a mountain of EVIDENCE against Crosby .

The " smoking gun " ...Crosby LIKELY can implicate BEDFORD .
Bedford in turn could CONCEIVABLY in turn bring down the TOP DOG ( this I believe explains the TIMING of the indictments )

Question 3: Will the FEDS follow Crosby's money trail and reveal vacation properties and other tangible assets that are the fruit of his crimes ?
question 4 : IF convicted can Crosby still collect retirement and benefits ?

HYPOTHETICAL : Does the corruption reach all the way to the TOP of the Legislature and IF Bedford is indicted can he implicate FOLSOM ?

Reasonable conclusion : Crosby will be found guilty .
Prediction : FEDS will announce Crosby is entering into a plea deal at arraignment.

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 3 THE FOOD CHAIN OR HOW THE FEDS FLIP INDICTEES

10-7-2010

72 Hours since the FBI rounded up the " Montgomery 11" and the good news is that we still have no suicides , mysterious accidents , and no one has come forward with revelations of death threats .
The again a Judge did deny motions to release the tapes of wire tap audio and a list of people who might be receiving reduced sentencing in exchange for information on criminal activity pertaining to BINGO .

Ms.Pouncy signed her paperwork on 9-14-2010 and entered her guilty plea 14 days later .
One would be naive to think that she ( and others also ) did not keep incriminating information to use one day in a worst case scenario .

No chance that McGregor's taped conversation library and secret document stash makes the Watergate files look like a pre schooler's writing tablet?

The Fed's will use the time honored method of " moving up the food chain "
Simply put if you are caught , and if you are willing to give up " a bigger fish " then you can get a reduced sentence .

First on the list in my opinion? Joseph R. Crosby, 61, Montgomery.
I visited http://open.alabama.gov/Checkbook/Payee/
Mr. Crosby was paid $165,219.20 in the last budget year .

The Fed's will consider Crosby " low hanging fruit " and should offer him a "deal".
Which person(s) could Crosby give up to the DOJ and would they be of enough importance to further the investigation ?

HONOR STAFF SGT. MILLER

Obama will award Staff SGT. Robert Miller the Medal of Honor (posthumously).

Milller's family will receive the award from President Obama .

On Aug. 14, 2003, ( 20th Birthday ) Miller enlisted in the Army as an 18 X-ray, Special Forces candidate, with the hope of becoming a Green Beret. He graduated from the Special Forces Qualification Course on Sept. 26, 2004.

His previous military decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals for valor, the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the NATO Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Parachutist Badge, the Special Forces Tab and the Ranger Tab.

On Jan. 25, 2008 Miller volunteered to take lead on a nocturnal patrol in the Konar Province near the Pakistan border. Because of his Pashto language abilities, he led and directed the small local contingent of Afghan National Army Soldiers from the front. As they approached their target area his team was attacked by insurgents.

Miller was the youngest member of his group of 8 Green Berets .

The Green Beret squad along with 15 Afghans was searching for high-value enemy insurgents in through Kunar Province in Afghanistan near the Pakistan border.

The Taliban were hidden behind boulders and launched the ambush under the cover of darkness .

Miller was the Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW ) operator, his job was to lay down suppressing ( cover ) fire to aid his team find cover or advance on the enemy.

Miller took his SAW and RAN DIRECTLY TOWARD THE ENEMY ,laying down cover fire allowing his comrades to exit the ambush and find safe cover.

Wounded TWICE he managed to fight for 25 more minutes

After throwing his last grenade and out of ammo Miller died with his FN 249 rifle in his hands .

The FN 249 SAW is a belt fed weapon and accepts either 50 or 100 round belts and also 200 round belts housed in a box.

Miller is pictured with the box fed SAW . The 249 has a cyclic rate of 750 RPM .

I am unable to find accounts of how many rounds Staff SGT. Miller fired at the Taliban, but it is likely ( in my opinion ) he fired over 400 rounds .

THE BINGO DIARIES CHAPTER 1

10-6-2010
12:45 AM EST

Monday morning 4 FBI agents arrived at the home of Milton McGregor .
The Agents were there to arrest McGregor and were told he was not there, and that he was in Macon county hunting .
McGregor along with 10 other alleged co conspirators were taken into custody October 4 , 2010.
Monday at 3:30 local time all 11 stood before a Federal Magistrate to have multiple charges from the 65 page indictment read to them.
View the indictment here

Amazing that all 11 could post bail that ranged from $100,000 to $500,000 each ?
Perhaps as the lengthy D.O.J. investigation has followed a corrupt money trail , these 11 ( and more ) had already anticipated their arrests and made a pre determined plan to execute bail in the event of an arrest ?

Perhaps McGregor used his money , resources , and influence to make sure all 11 were set free on bail the same day ?
We may never know the answers to these questions as the Media has been very SOFT in their coverage of the D.O.J. investigation .

Question 1 : How did WSFA " just happen" to have a film crew in front of McGregor's house at 7:00 AM ?
Did a neighbor call ? Were the details of the arrest warrant leaked to them ?
Question 2 : Will the employee that lied to the FBI about McGreogor not being at home be charged with lying to an FBI agent ? and if no , why not ?

Predictably , some people are questioning the timing of the arrests and claiming they are politically motivated .

Washington D.C. is now controlled by a far left Democratic administration .
Governor Riley (R) has been a vocal opponent of this administration and it's policies .
Senator Jeff Sessions (R) has been instrumental in delaying and blocking Obama appointees and also opposes Obama's current policy .
NO sane person could conclude that the powers to be in D.C. are granting Republicans favors and are on a " witch hunt " in Alabama to discredit Democrats and their supporters and throw the November elections into the laps of the conservative Republicans .
I advance a theory that POLITICAL MOTIVE is just the OPPOSITE .
Imagine the embarrassment of the Democratic National Party if AFTER the election , high ranking State DEMOCRAT officials were arrested on corruption charges , better to weed some of them out now ,than to let them get re elected then be paraded around in handcuffs and draw more attention to the massive corruption in D.C.

The after math of the Mid Term elections will leave no margin of error for a Democratic party that will likely suffer humiliating losses that will relinquish control of the U.S. House of Representatives to a Republican majority.
The House initiates investigations and Pelosi has done a fine job making sure that VERY FEW investigations with Democrats as the target have moved forward .

Jennifer Pouncy was an employee for a Lobby firm in Montgomery Alabama.
Ms.Pouncy entered to and signed a formal plea agreement on September 14,2010 , and entered a GUILTY plea on September 28th, 2010. Read the article here
View the plea agreement here

Ms.Pouncy COULD have been sentenced to between 108 and 15 months , instead she will LIKELY receive 60 months and between $15,000 and $150,000 fine.

Pouncy has admitted to offering a $2 MILLION dollar bribe to State Sen James E. Preuitt, 75, R-Talladega , to secure the Senator's YES VOTE on SB 380.

The scheme also involved a plan to purchase 100 Ford vehicles for a total value of $1 MILLION from Preuitt's car dealership , and to use country Music artists in public appearances to benefit Preuitt.
The cars would have been purchased for use at the Country Crossing casino .
Preuitt WITHDREW from his SD 11 bid for election on September 1, 2010.
Read the article here

REASONABLE CONCLUSION : Preuitt knew he was going to be indicted and was to busy " clearing up his personal life " in preparing for the indictment and and imminent guilty verdict
Pouncey also admitted she offered State Sen.Larry P. Means, 63, D-Attalla , a $100,000 bribe to secure his YES VOTE on SB 380.

As the " Montgomery 11" prepare for their day in court the MEDIA should be DIGGING up background on these public figures .
Would most people be surprised that at LEAST two of the people have had allegations of " murder for hire " leveled at them BEFORE the current investigation ?
Would anyone be surprised McGregor has been investigated by the FBI before for just that allegation ?
Or that over 20 years ago the local newspaper ran a story on a a separate scheme , and days later McGregor appeared with the man at a press conference and announced " it was all just a big misunderstanding "
